Blogging from TextMate
I been spending a lot of time in TextMate, and so I found BlogMate along with the standard Blogging Bundle. They make blogging from TextMate way too easy. I have found recently when I’ve wanted to blog I don’t want to use a browser and I just find Ecto tedious and overly complicated. I have a way of working with text and doing things differently inside Ecto was just annoying. Working inside TextMate, using Markdown, and firing off an entry with a hotkey is very nice indeed.
The standard Blogging Bundle is great for regular posts, but BlogMate is a nice complement as you can just fire messages off to Twitter from inside TextMate.
